I think 10min is close enough. Most people who have tried EVs think it takes 30min...and think that's way too long compared to gas... They don't care if it's 800v or whatever underneath...just time and cost.

Which SC gave you the original runaround? Seems like that SC is horrible 😞 Also, it's super obvious they're not doing enough QC inspections at the factory and not automating enough... Hope they get that fixed before R2 or Rivian will fail as a company...

I'd say most people expect it to work this way...the fact that it doesn't feel like a bug 😞 That said, a passcode on the screen wouldn't be a bad idea even for those other cars...

What stood out to me watching it is so much of the factory floor seemed idle. And not much of it was automated..some was but it looked like there were a lot of manual work stations...

Oops...forgot you had a Gen1. Yep, I don't think it mattered in that version. AFAIK it was added for Gen2. The Pixel 9 Pro also has UWB. I was wondering if you had a Samsung because they tend to be more aggressive than normal for killing off apps that "aren't being used" to save battery life...

OP: Curious what kind of phone you have? AFAIK, the Gen2 really wants a phone with UWB support.

Gear Guard for the longest time only recorded if it detects a human. Last update supposedly added motion sensing... There's no impact detection AFAIK...better to add a dashcam for that

Sounds like you might have a leaking air suspension... Probably worth a service call ..

That's normal too. What's not normal is if it's on all the time or your suspension sags after you leave it parked for a while (both are indications you have a leak in the air suspension bags).

That's probably the air suspension pump.
