Samsung s24+ should have it with the next big OneUI 7 update.
I'm impressed with how polished their software UI looks already... Thought these were just hardware prototypes... ?
Interior looks nicer than I expected too...
AFAIK the only android watch with UWB support is the latest Google pixel watch.
You'd need that for unlock support.
For normal wearos support (widgets etc), it's not super hard to add to an android app nowadays...
FWIW, a family member has a hybrid RAV4 and is happy with it... It's one of the few PHEV that are as reliable as an ICE car.
Saves gas money 90% of the time. The integration is pretty smooth when I rode in it FWIW...didn't feel sluggish as a passenger and the driver had no complaints.

An EREV uses more battery material than a regular hybrid...so the weight/size comments would still apply. I'm sure they thought of it...
I'd still say a hybrid (if as reliable as a regular ICE car) that can handle a 60 mile commute (max typical for most people) would be the most optimal usage...

Bit surprised they didn't think of this when designing it...
The Bluetooth support on newer android phones is a lot better so it'll be more reliable.
Upgrading to something that has a snapdragon gen 2+ (S23 or better in Samsung land) will also get you much better battery life.
Google also forces developers to drop an older OS version every year so I...
About halfway in, there's a small segment about software defined vehicles and VW.
The historical perspective is interesting...subsidies aren't as high now, but the big push was 10 years ago when their government made the decision to leapfrog ICE vehicles from a pollution and innovation...

I'm less worried about Rivian not surviving now.
This is a critical part of VW's future... It's not just the Scout. It'll be used in their entire lineup with Porsche and Audi helping...
