We have no idea what the reliability of the R2 will be. Hopefully much better than the R1 line. Any new model of vehicle is bound to have bugs though. Maybe wait for the second generation R2 or a mid-cycle refresh? There will definitely be more reviews and data at that point.

It is quite impressive. Lots of rounded corners, side air intakes, spoilers in the front, rear, and on the roof to cut down on drag, wheel covers, etc. Rivian engineers know what they’re doing. I can’t wait to see what the range would be on the 20” wheels with all-season or summer tires...

Haha. I don’t know about old money, but you can’t beat British Racing Green. It’s been a MINI staple for years. That and the white roof and side mirrors. Rivian’s Forest Green is a close match. I can’t wait to see the R3X/R3 in some different colors and interiors.

MINI had this interior as well including the thigh bolsters. They called it Malt Brown. Also rare. I love it. It’s kind of retro. The Alpha AC vents are also eerily similar to MINI’s. What year is that? 2024 MINI Cooper SE (EV) Malt Brown Interior

Yes, that’s right. You get a lot of extra stuff. They’re trying to entice buyers to get an R1 while everyone waits for the R2. According to RJ it’s going to take at least 18 months to fully ramp the R2, so Rivian needs to keep selling the R1 line. If someone has the money I’m sure they wouldn’t...

If they produce an R2X down the line I’m sure it will have a unique interior option. I think this is one of the many things that sets Rivian apart. Once they get the R2 off and running I’m sure more exterior and interior color options will become available. It might take a couple of years though.

Hell yeah. One thing I like about the Forest Edge interior is that it’s available for the Dual-motor R1T/S. Although you do have to get the Max Pack with it, which you’ll probably want anyway ($7,000 for the bundle). The Tri and Quad-motors get the Slate Sky interior ($3,000). I think they...
