I would assume cooling pump, 12v battery top charging, or just running the computer. Or some other system is taking some top charge off and so the charging cycles on periodically. Could even be the battery modules balancing and making room for a bit more charge. Calling normal.
Not the same...
I like the Tesla Wall Connector. Does have a minor quirk the way it interacts with my R1S. I use one daily at work and it is great. Self networked load sharing is a huge plus if needed to charge multiple vehicles with limited power.
The Rivian wall charge connector I have at home is...
My XM stays connected. OK one time it seemed to have an issue but reset itself after maybe 30 seconds of driving. Previously I had to wait 1 to 5 starts before it worked again.
That was my point I made above and got chewed out.
I may not want the initial download. I want the download to wait a week+ for a potentially revised version.
So Connect+ vehicles have no control of the download and the basic version gets an option to delay?
Brilliant.
To answer the question.. it would appear the current version of the recent update is stable and correct.
Take the leap forward.
I see more deals on the base models and as you move up to the Quad not so much.
My loan though my bank (BofA) was about 3/4 point less than Rivian bank (Chase)
Timer with multiple time slots is not smart. Mechanical timers did this 70+ years ago.
Smart would be maybe timers based on location. Or communicate with my home solar to project how much power can be used to avoid export or not depleting the home battery.
At least let me set the end time...
Get the home charging connection made and take some time to consider the rest.
Once you have a definate need for other charging it is far easier to just get what you need. Very easy to go a bit overboard with unknown needs.
