I believe that’s how leases work (unless certain state law applies differently). You pay only the sales tax on the depreciation costs and not the full cost of the vehicle.

Curious why you leased the dual standard + versus the quad large? Plan to purchase at the end? The lease cost per month is similar.

From what I’ve read, if you have the pre-price hike voucher, leasing and then buying is not a good value. You only get the 20% off the depreciation and not the total cost of the vehicle. Not worth it.

I think that with the amount of vehicles shipped, the partnership with Amazon and most importantly, the fact that everyone that owns one is seemingly a huge fan and advocate of the product will all contribute to the survival and eventual success of the company. I think there are a lot of 21” wheels out there. The issue is the specific tire size (275/55-21). I hope more adopt it. But the first R1T rolled off and was delivered in Oct 2021…and no other option yet.

Agree on the wheel options. I think they’ll get rid of the 21” wheel and use the 20” wheel and have an AT and AS options offered. The 21” is a problem for them.
