A few cons to an early build, a few pros. My dual 12v's are still going strong.

Gotcha. Makes sense. I'm probably 20/80 city/highway over 33k miles. Most my highway miles are around 75mph. I'm happy with the 2.38 honestly given my usage. 2.73 with mostly city sounds about right!
