Don't know about automotive parts and electronics, but I can tell you the price of building materials is up far more than 20% since December. Of course many of those commodities may crash in a few months also ... or they may keep going up. The supply chain issues are real and most observers...
Did the rear seat face the out the rear or were there 2 benches on the side looking at each other? We had both back in the day before anyone heard of seat belts.
As a long time Ridgeline owner, I can say Honda's dual action tailgate is the way to go. I probably use the swing option more than the fold down as it makes the in-bed trunk much more accessible.
I'm guessing there are patent issues on this as well.
Good summary. I am sticking with RIT Adventure Max in 2023 unless Toyota or Honda have secretly been developing and start producing EV Tacoma's and Ridgelines before then. (Don't really want a full size pickup). Those are probably the only two manufactures I would trust to get it right the...
Good point. I am looking forward to see how the AT tires perform in the snow as well. However if I had to chain up a 7000+lbs AWD Vehicle with All Terrain Tires, I'd stay home by the fire instead.
Mt Bachelor in Oregon offers EV charging stations in the parking lot so you can "fill up" while out doing something better. I would be shocked if most, if not all, the Summit County resorts didn't do the same. If not there must be some "Adventure Network" stations up there. May not need it...
Excessive delays would be the #1 reason. Paid a deposit Jan. 2020 so not anxious to squeeze another couple years out of my 07 Ridgeline otherwise I will need to go another direction. #1A is the lack of SXM integrated into the entertainment system which really bothers me. I can't for the life...
Satellite radio. It is astounding to me this is not available, much less a standard feature, unless Rivian is waiting for Amazon to purchase SXM or start their own service. When I asked via the website chat, Rivian said they went with Spotify instead. Is that really a competing service...
Rivian is putting charging networks to service remote locations for their adventure vehicles, so lets get some test drives near those sites. If nothing else, they could just make sure all the deposit holders don't need to travel more than 100-150 miles to see the products.
