If I were to tap directly into the 12v battery and otherwise had the truck in sleep mode would the 12v battery be replenished when needed by the main battery or would it drain it? (when using the 12v fridge)
I tow a 1948 curtis wright clipper in conserve mode after getting on the freeway and do not understand how that would significantly add to tire wear (trailer is only 2000 pounds and is very aerodynamic) Most trucks are 2wd and have not heard of going threw tires. I am easy on acceleration when...
I have a 23 R1t and will be using the 12v plug in the gear tunnel to power a refrigerator. Truck will be in sleep mode and locked most of the time. Will the 12v battery automaticlly be topped off when needed by the main battery pack. I could also use the 110 outlet but that would not be as...
any fridge in the frunk is going to less efficient (higher power usage)because of lack of ventilation, mine will go in bed once I get the cover which will have better ventilation
does anyone know how much clearance their is under the manual cover so I can determine what 12v fridge to buy? (does the cover go lower than the tracks)
I got the Hanssow sunsreen from amazon for $60. for my R1T, fits perfectly, before that it was letting in way too much heat, have one in my model 3 as well.
the whole point is that the dash area is not wsted space and yes lighter colors on sunny days might reflect but please explain to me how you see this as wasted space and how it can't be utilized for many applications
Yes but my plans are not that many pages typically and I have no idea if they would fit in that space but it certainly is a greater possibility than strapping them to the hood of a traditional pickup, my wife posts garage sale sign often, you could put the signs on the dash, come on now use...
I am not saying you would read the blueprints on the dash but you would place items like that to transport them from the office/home to building site and yes I have built 7 houses.
Here is the reality with the huge dash you say is wasted space, in a traditional pickup the bulk of that so called wasted space would be outside the truck where that mass of air would collide with the more angled windshield causing significant drag, were you planning on gluing items on your hood...
To each their own, I find my R1t to be difficult to carry 2 electric bikes covered in back, there is not enough height or length in the bed as with the handlebars it will not fit with the cover closed and the tailgate has to be open for the bikes to fit. I will sacrifice some front space for...
I have a R1T and have a reservation on the cybertruck #780,000 so would be years before getting it. I as do millions of other folks just do not agree with the ugly notion, I see it as an aerodynamic work of art. Many feel the rivian headlight are ugly too, I don't. People are just uncomfortable...
