Unless paint options are priced reasonably, going back to silver…easiest color to take care of, hides fine scratches, etc. Catalina Cove would be next choice.
Yeah, at 15k I couldn't hear myself think with original off road tires...they were wearing even all around and maybe could have made 30k if I didn't care about my hearing.
Love the truck, just can't stand the air suspension feel, noise and drivetrain slop (Gen 1) even after multiple half-shafts, hubs and new motor... so trading for R2 as soon as my number is called. I'll be back for Gen 3 or 4.
I sympathize. Mine does the exact same thing and I have a brand new motor and half shafts only 3 weeks old. The noises they say are “normal on Gen 1”. Another owner near me had similar sounds and they found one of his shocks leaking and updated his to the newest version. He says it’s super...
Same issue except its my front end. They say normal. Once shocks start leaking they will replace them, according to another R1T owner who had this done. I made same complaint and they said its normal.
I wonder if you can tow charge this thing. Like if I'm out on a trail with friends and I run out of juice, it would be nice if I could be towed for a bit to recoup some energy.
Honestly, as long as an update doesn't mess up my settings, I've set the vents into position and never touched them again. So I believe the thinking is that most people are the same. I can see how its not as convenient if there are different drivers of the vehicle.
