The only winter tire that’s available are Blizzak 20s. So it’s not like the options are plentiful. Everything is either on back order or don’t meet OEM spec.
Its 100lbs difference. Seems pretty inconsequential, particularly knowing that I’d imagine all load indexes are made with a level of leeway and forgiveness meaning that going above the maximum weight rating accidentally is going to be unlikely to cause a blowout unless you over did it...
No problem. Here are the misaligned panels that bother me the most. The others I don’t see with my eye so clearly or are not significant enough for me to be upset about it.
First is the tailgate that sticks out on the passenger side. I’m unsure if this is what sometimes my tailgate won’t open...
Do you have any pics or vids? What state winter did you run through? MN is very different than say OR/CO/NY in the sense that we actually have pretty limited snow accumulation but it’s always freezing meaning the road conditions are generally for more severe than fresh power snow states where...
I’d prefer the 22s with winter tires vs the 20s with winter tires as I’d anticipate less range loss but I feel the 20s would be the safer choice. Looking at those tires however has me thinking to buy the dark 22s and pick up those.(if they’ll sell me just the wheels anyway).
I may have to...
I just found these. Not exact. Unsure what the overall thought is having a lower sidewall.

I live in Minnesota and thinking about winter with my 21s and the reviews here that say they’re scary to drive on. I’m overall just looking to spend less than the OE $4300+. I’m a fan of the K02s as I have had those for a decade on 3 different Raptors. Always do well in the winter. That said I’m...
I have now been able to haul the family of 5 around for 2 weeks in the R1S. We have put on 999 miles to date and completed our first ever family tent camping. I posted a quick-comment post that can be found right here but this new post is to serve as additional follow up for hopefully others to...
At the price point and for just a family hauler it’s not a choice - the X is pretty clearly the winner.
That said, my family enjoys the Rivian R1S way more. My dad has been borrowing my X for a bit here now and so my other beater car is my Model S. I wouldn’t say I’m a Tesla fanboy, but I’ve...
No - your warranty is absolutely not invalid at all by replacing the stock wheels/tires with aftermarket. That said, if your vehicle was using wheel and tire combinations not recommended by the manufacturer and through the service center and tech diagnostic review an issue arose that was due to...
I’ve had the R1S now for 3 days. I’ve been able to put on 340 miles so far and love it! Yesterday I did 20% ceramic tint all around. I’ll post better pics later, for now I’ll just put the one from last night in the garage. As a quick reminder for all.. I do own 2 Teslas currently still a Model S...
They are. If you pre-order a T you do not get access to the S. Conversely, they limit your Shop access if you order an S and ask CS to give you options for the T or let them know you’re open to a change.
