Hello all. I had a powder coater lined up and delivered my truck only to find out their lift will not support the weight of an R1T.
I'm hoping to get a recommendation for a powder coater that does same day service, that will remove and remount tires and wheels after the job is complete. Know...
We just put a deposit down on a R1S after having our R1T for a few weeks. The wait begins again, but watching deliveries to order holders helps the time go by. Congrats everyone!
I reported earlier in this thread that I do have a 12v plug in the frunk. I am back to report I do not have a 12v under the dash. Luckily, it’s not that big of a deal to me, but surprised at the inconsistency of delivered vehicles.
BofA in Santa Barbara works great too. Whole Foods right across the street for coffee and snacks. 10% to 85% in 50 minutes and cost was just under $50.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! Sorry for my radio silence but have been down with a cold.
@Brewbud thanks for info, i was unaware there is a SD Rivian Owners Facebook Group.
I would be up for a meet up in North County, maybe Encinitas or Carlsbad. Not sure of a location that we could just...
Gauging interest in a San Diego area meet up? Ideas for location?
I think it'll be fun to meet other Rivian owners and possibly set up off road / overlanding trips or just talk shop.
Coming from the Jeep world we would also set up wrenching get togethers where people would help other owners...
Congratulations!
I hope my R1T was on the same train from IL to CA. I spoke to my guide yesterday and she said the truck is very close and will be delivered NLT mid March. I hope she is just padding it and i get it sooner. :fingerscrossed:
