Depends on what's they would replace it with. Maybe the newer drive units are quieter, or the gen 2's have better sound dampening. Ultimately we may have to accept the fact that our vehicles were a briefly sold variant released with engineering compromises to maximize sales.

Wanted to add a data point. Got my car back from service for wind noise. I'm don't know of all the areas they worked on but the gasket was definitely replaced on the front driver side door and window. The car is now whisper quiet (aside from tire noise) on the highway at 70mph.
