Rivian CS just called. I submitted a ticket to get my truck set up for my new wheels and tires. Going from 21's to aftermarket 20's with stock size tires (275/65R20.) They said they won't calibrate aftermarket wheels.
FYI:
1. The speedometer is actually MORE accurate with the 275/65R20's...
I bought Thuren's prototype set with the BFG MUD-TERRAIN T/A® KM3's in 275/65R20. Going from the 21's these are an inch bigger diameter. That equates to about 3.2%. The weight (68lbs) and rolling resistance are going to eat my range.
Just a couple I haven't seen yet.
1. Ability to turn on only the heated mirrors independent of the rear window via the HVAC screen. My mirrors frost up in foggy conditions while the rear window remains clear. Should be simple enough to enable a "button" on the mirror image.
2. Ability to control...
Mine has worked consistently for several weeks now. Now roomy entry/exit is not working. Have a ticket in and a service appointment scheduled. Apparently it's a firmware update to fix that.
Yes, I just have the provided Rivian portable charger plugged into a cord reel. The truck knows what to do. I just plug it in and ensure I get a green light before I walk away. My efficiency on the 68 mile drive was 1.57mi/kW at an average of 64mph on 21's.
I was plugged into 120v at work for 10 hours on Monday. It was -20F (-32F with windchill!) to start and about 8F when I unplugged. I gained about 10kW net with 1.4kW to accessory and 0.4kW to cabin and battery temps.
Yes, I was surprised. About 10kW net. I had more loss to accessory power (1.4kW) than cabin and battery temp (0.4kW) while plugged in for 10 hours. The trip to work was 68.1mi at 64mph average and 1.57mi/kWh. 43.6kWh total.
Same problems here. I had to record the display when I put it in park and frame grab the 1 second when I could actually see the message about parking brake performance on steep inclines.
I received mine locked open. I believe it is there as there appears to be a slat in the slot at the front of the bed. None of the buttons do anything, but I can turn it on and off on the screen since the latest update. Still hopeful for a fix, s00n?
