I live 4 hours from Normal, have a delivery window of July/Sept 2022 and still haven't got an invite for one of these. I was thinking about just driving over to Normal one day and see if someone can let me look around one. Anyone done that?

So for you guys that are hardwiring the charger to a 60A circuit, are you going to use the Rivian Wall Charger that we can order? Do we know if we can remove the cable portion that plugs into a NEMA 14-50 and hardwire directly? Or, are you using a third party charger?

Just giving this a bump. Can't believe they wouldn't install a simple programable garage door opener or at least integrate something with the software. It's been a long time since I needed to keep a universal remote clipped to the visor, sure hope we don't need to go back to that with a truck...

I don't know for sure, but wouldn't be surprised if it's all about this "chip" shortage still. Working in IT sales I can tell you first hand that devices that rely on special "chips" that pre-covid would take 1-2 weeks for delivery after an order are taking 250+ days (even seen 350+) to deliver...

:CWL: Totally agree! My wife is always on my ass because I park in the back 40 everywhere we go in our Ram truck. Certainly look forward to something easier to maneuver. I will however miss the Ram Box's a bit (till I get used to the gear tunnel anyway).

So if LE deliveries are to be done by spring 2022, is it a safe assumption that LE and Max Pack deliveries will overlap in early 2022 you think? Or, do we suppose Max Pack holders will see their vehicles after the LE's have been delivered (even though it says Max Pack will start in January 2022)?

I learned that my deposit at least got me a Rivian R1T picture/print mailed to me today from RJ. I about lost it when my wife said I got a package from Rivian, was like xmas morning!

So it’s for sure there’s no auto dim/smoke for the roof? At least an inside cover maybe?? Or is it just glass and that’s it, always wide open letting light through? I must have missed some detail somewhere..

Yup. Just realized that and was coming back to edit my post. I flat out didn't see the green in those pictures, looked more like a light tan.

So I'm looking at these pictures and I'm liking that color for the interior. Thing is, that doesn't look anything like the "Ocean Coast" colors I'm seeing in the configurator. Hense, I've got "Black Mountain" selected for my colors as of now. The "Ocean Coast" looks waaaay lighter in color...
