I also have a 2023 R1S and when I took it to SC for the 7,500 mile service, they proactively swapped out the 12v battery. Did you have your vehicle serviced at Rivian? If so, did they mention anything about the 12v replacement?

It's been a while since I used the coiled hose, but it happened almost every time with the coiled hose vs sporadically with the OEM hose. Who knows what's actually causing it.

Can't agree 100% based on my limited experience with the Burbank SC.

I tried to live with the noise coming from the rear and that's why I didn't try to open the rear lift gate until a few days later. However, it was more of clicking sound like something wasn't closed properly than just a loose rattle so I had to look. Glad I did so they don't claim I caused it.

Did you ever go back to fix the rattles or figured not worth the brain damage?

Just seems odd these issues popped up after each visit to the SC and the original problem, even though they said they fixed it multiple times, still exists. Maybe it's just coincidence or maybe the car wasn't designed properly and if they address one problem two more pop up...exponential...

First SC experience was at Burbank for the 7,500 mile service and everything was good. So when I needed repairs, I went there again. Unless VN totally screws up, I don't think I'll return to Burbank.

I know Burbank SC lost some people during last job cuts. There was a person I was texting with about my repair and on Friday I contacted him for an update and he said he no longer works for Rivian. Maybe morale is low.

You can submit the paperwork yourself to DMV. When I returned my Bolt EUV lease Chevy dealer didn't submit paperwork so I kept getting registration renewal mail. First time in numerous vehicles I've leased over the years that I had to do it, but it's pretty simple.
