  1. Colorado Checking In

That calf (calf+?) is adorable. I still wouldn't want to be anywhere near it and especially it's parents. The zoom on the pics suggest we think alike. Great shots!!
  2. Do you consider Rivian a Luxury Car?

Cadillac is luxury? hehe, I'd rather drive just about any stock toyota or honda.
  3. Colorado Checking In

My theory on no R2/3 roadshow in Denver yet is that Rivian's thought process is..... meh, we are going to sell a bajillion of these in CO no matter what so no rush.
  4. A beer for Rivian owners

The person who orders beer at my curling club keeps ordering cases of this in 24oz cans and it is god awful. It's also malt liquor.
  5. A beer for Rivian owners

ABI diversted Kona IN Hawaii due to some antitrust issues. They still produce and distribute it on the mainland. It's a really weird setup. The local Kona has definitely done a lot of investment. Agreed on your last point though. Homebrewer here too and started drinking New Belgium in the 90s...
  6. A beer for Rivian owners

But only if you are drinking Kona on the islands. If you are drinking it anywhere else, it was made by someone else (AB Inbev) and somewhere else on the mainland. Meh, then again Ommegang is owned by Duvel. Nevermind, let's just focus on the beer and not what global conglomerate owns them now...
  7. $3000 estimate for tonneau cover replacement?

Should be covered. Sometimes the estimates have prices for covered items, although mine for the PTC replacement didn't.
  8. Coolers that fit in the frunk?

Look 2 posts up. Pic included.
  9. Saddlebrooke AZ to Denver CO trip report

We did this DEN-Casa Grande-DEN RT over xmas. We had 2 pups with us and aren't cut out for long driving days anymore so we stopped in ABQ on the way down and SF on the way home so very similar except coming up through Pagosa Springs, which was avoided by obviously stopping for the night in SF...
  10. No software update this month?

Same. Can't remember ever getting a midday push notification. I usually see it in the app first thing in the morning without a push notification.
  11. 2024.11.2 Software Update Released! => Release Notes: Send Navigation, Mapping, Charging Feedback/Scores + Rear Display Improvements + More

I usually notice updates showing up in the morning on the app (seemingly being an overnight refresh, maybe?). After seeing the IG post I actively looked to see if it was available about an hour ago and it was not available. I just got a push notification that the update was available and just...
  12. Can't imagine a worse car-buying experience

Besides my Rivian experience, which was amazing, the only other time I have had a car buying experience I would say I didn't hate was when we purchased our Audi Q5 PHEV in May 2020. I 100% attribute it being a halfway decent experience because of COVID limitations and the fact that no one at the...
  13. Power Tonneau Cover Replacement Scheduled

I believe the new parts inventory is the biggest factor in the slow rollout. I base this on my experience with the Denver SC. It seems they got an initial batch at the end of last year, scheduled appointments for what they had and then had to wait for another tranche of parts, which one of the...
  14. Anyone charged an F150 Lightning using the Rivian home charger?

My R1T was almost exclusively charged with the charger I got with my Audi Q5 PHEV for 20 months until we got rid of the Audi. No issues. J1772 are compatible across vehicles.
  15. Can't imagine a worse car-buying experience

Another vote of confidence in Denver SC. I've also thankfully only had to visit a couple of times for very minor issues but every experience has been great. My first mobile service last week for my new PTC was also great. The night and day difference between dealing with Rivian (even in its...
  16. Who in CO still has a broken auto tonneau?

Glad to help. Not trying to make excuses for the SC but it could be a training issue.
  17. Who in CO still has a broken auto tonneau?

Mobile replacement complete. 8:03 - Tech #1 (with the van) starts working solo 8:36 - Tech #2 (in an R1T) shows up 9:57 - All done
  18. Who in CO still has a broken auto tonneau?

Pretty sure this is the new part listed above, it came in one piece out of the box on the ground. The old part is sitting behind the truck. The assembly included the motor (in the closer tech's right hand) and after they installed it they deployed the slats out of it. So I believe PT0000079-k is...
  19. Who in CO still has a broken auto tonneau?

5th part is "Tonneau Cover - Electric". Maybe that is it?
