Two items that would appeal to me in the future: 1. A “kids aboard” mode that would engage child locks, disable the over head lights from constantly being pushed, and window locks 2. Charge door should close when car locks and not plugged in

I had a VIN assigned for an R1S about a week ago. Reserved Jan 2020. My guide tells me about 3 weeks until vehicle arrives at the SC in Minnesota.

I went on an R1S first mile drive last week and the guy from the Service Center said Rivian is partnering with Discount Tire to do tire rotations etc

Same for me. GE/OC was April-June 2023 now April -May 2023.

I saw two R1S’s today at the SLP service center with Forest Edge interior. Cool to see other interior colors being produced. Looking forward to seeing OC in an R1S

My guide told me today that on delivery day there is 45 minutes for a new owner to thoroughly inspect vehicle and either accept or reject current condition of the vehicle. If vehicle is rejected, repairs will be completed prior to another attempt at delivery. I know guides…have variable levels...

I talked to my guide today and she reports R1S’s with Ocean Coast interior have been coming off the line. Also states that April-June is not accurate delivery window most likely 4-8 weeks. Cautiously optimistic.

Went by this evening and I saw an El Cap R1S and at least 3 R1Ts with Ocean Coast interior (about 10-12 R1Ts total on the lot). Hopefully moving towards more deliveries in Minnesota

The dance studio next to the Rivian Service center in SLP has been vacant for a few months. Maybe an “impromptu” gathering there could work.
