Same issue just occurred with mine (2022 R1T 30xx vin range) at 42k miles. Took about 4 days for it to go from just a strange noise to completely failing while driving at low speed. No warning lights, messages, or anything, just loud scraping / thuds while moving. Vehicle towed to service...
Yikes, sorry to see that.
In Eugene Old Dominion just became Rivian certified. I know someone taking their R1S there next week to get a dent / scratch repaired, so could get a report on how it goes with them.
Myself and my kids still enthusiastically wave to all other Rivians even after nearly 3 years! We definitely get some strange reactions from people....
Can confirm have seen this issue as well since the last update (2x). Never before that. Service appointment for next week hopefully to sort it out, or confirm if its a SW bug.
I also have this issue, and one thing i've noticed is that the truck sometimes thinks its somewhere else, which influences the proxy behaviour.
I think this is related to an issue with the maps functionality, which i've noticed since the previous update (connect +) doesn't load the drivers...
I agree, the FM setup is quite strange in the truck, and always has been. When I first got my truck I opened a ticket about it and they replaced the entire antenna array, and it still has issues. One thing a tech told me is that there are actually two antennas, and that the SW decides which...
I just had mine replaced and it looks identical to this. The original had practically no water ingress and had a similar gap, but I have yet to test the new one.
I've noticed this as well. I think this is a blanket statement, as if the vehicle has less than 7500 miles you can register it in Oregon as a "new" vehicle:
https://www.oregon.gov/dor/programs/businesses/pages/vehicle-privilege-and-use-taxes.aspx
It might be that you'd have to get the...
I'm noticing the similar behavior. I've also noticed that it more typically will recognize "Speed Limit" signs vs the "Speed" signs when it does (Oregon thing).
Thats great they'll come down from Bend! Yeah unfortunately they don't send the EDVs down from Portland to Eugene either...
So seems like maybe they're not wanting to get a lot of deliveries in the area until they have a more locally based Mobile tech?
I know someone down on the Southern Oregon coast with an R1S reservation that has a guide and delivery date of Nov 2023 and there has been no mention about service issues due to proximity to Portland.
This would work, but I imagine service will be a bit tough, since you will need to get the vehicle either to Portland yourself, or to someone's house within the mobile service area. This would be until they get a mobile service tech based in Southern Oregon, or open a Service Center thats...
Same here, going to 69% instead of 70%. I had service here last week and tech suggested a hard reset, haven't tried that yet, but definitely lines up with last SW update.
So Rivian did come and replace my center cap. However they noticed in the photo I posted to the ticket that the center bolt was missing. Turns out that bolt had somehow come loose, and popped itself out along with the center cap on the left front wheel.
The tech said some of these bolts have...
I have a missing wheel center cap, and while they sell the ones for the 21s in the Gear Shop, they don't for the 20 ATs. So mobile service appointment for a simple part they could have just mailed to me....
Welcome all! I created this Club for those of us in and around Eugene, Corvallis, Albany, Salem, and parts in-between in the Willamette Valley, Oregon Coast, and Cascades. A place to talk about where you like to explore in the area, charging tips, service experiences, meet-ups and generally...
