Just being honest I love the vehicle but it’ll see more adventures on interstates vs. off-roading for me in the Southeast. At 6-8K (I’m unfortunately post-March pricing unless you know someone willing to part ways with their R1S ?) cheaper (Dual Motor Enhanced) if i have a max range of 365 miles...
thanks for the breakdown! honestly this is pretty much what i was looking for. we know that enduro will be slightly more efficient and so a dual R1S at 125kWh w/efficiency at 2.8 mi/kWh is 360 miles.
I know a lot of people are waiting to see what the dual motor Enduro (in-house Rivian motors) setup will average in terms range on the R1T & R1S. I’ve gone back and forth myself on what would make me go with Dual Motor vs. Quad and I’ve come up with anything 350-360 would make me choose the Dual...
sheesh ? - I think too with the IRA passing and the price cap being 80 dealers will do their best to keep the EV9 under that as it could be a selling point for a lot of people. Who knows though
You’re telling me there’s only bluetooth audio or using the streaming via Spotify & no actual hardwire for you phone audio? Who made that design decision.
This is what I just said on another thread. I am perfectly fine waiting until 2024. It gives me more time to save to be in a better financial position, but more importantly a ton of earlier adopter woes should have worked themselves out by then. Supply chain issues will have more or less ended...
Sheesh. I’d hate that for him. I just honestly wasn’t interested in the T, but would take a dual motor R1S any day. Understand what you’re saying tho. Only thing about waiting until 24 would be that by then I could almost pay cash for it though I’d still be going with a bank.
Something I...
I just want them to release these range estimates already. That will be the clincher for so many people. And if it’s not 355-360, I’m going quad all the way.
Most of the R1Ts that I know of were delivered here, were delivered before they switched prioritizing delivery based on proximity to a service center. BUT we’re now within 90 miles of the nearest service center - Nashville. Whereas before the closest two were Atlanta & Memphis ?
That WAS you! With your son? I was so excited to see another one in person ?. I have my reservation in, but I’m currently hoping to find a pre-March pre-order holder that doesn’t want there’s anymore willing to take delivery and then sell to me. Chances are slim to none but we’ll see.
