  1. Oregon (PENDING, Post Delivery) FOR SALE: Customizable R1T Order - Jan/Feb 2023 Delivery

Would you be willing to switch it back to an R1S? Unfortunately I’m not sure option 1 is even possible since Rivian doesn’t let individuals transfer pre-orders. I saw you originally started with an R1S! Also my condolences for the loss of your father :/
  2. Alone in Alabama?

Has anyone here opted for the R1S over the R1T? I’m in Huntsville as well and while I’ve seen several R1Ts (saw a white one with 21s on Christmas Eve at our Best Buy) I haven’t seen a single R1S
  3. Virginia WTB 20" dark wheels

How much do the 20s go for?
  4. 2023 is here... still "processing estimate"

That’s what I’m saying. Like it was the second half of October with the first set why wouldn’t everyone assume the second half of January with the these?
  5. 2023 is here... still "processing estimate"

Here’s hoping that with those new estimates come even more Dual Motor info (pricing, mileage estimates, etc.)
  6. Latest EV tax credit status (as of 12/30/22) - summary by NYT

That’s because there aren’t many non-luxury EVs on the market yet ?? All the legacy automakers won’t be releasing theirs for another year to year and a half. I don’t want a Chevy Bolt or a Nissan Leaf. Anything else is super close to that 50-55K cap in the IRA.
  7. Anyone change to a Dual Motor?

Exactly this. Which is why I think we may see a price increase on the Quad motor again. It just makes zero sense for 5-8K more for only a 70 miles price increase. But then again who knows.
  8. Latest EV tax credit status (as of 12/30/22) - summary by NYT

This is just outright ridiculous and in line with some of the other things I've seen on this sub and it just absolutely baffles me. "If you can/can't afford X, then maybe you shouldn't be buying this car." Not everyone who is buying this car sees 80K as a drop in a bucket. I'm single, upper...
  9. Latest EV tax credit status (as of 12/30/22) - summary by NYT

And I’m still waiting on someone to say they don’t want it, take delivery & the tax credit, and then sell it to me ?
  10. Latest EV tax credit status (as of 12/30/22) - summary by NYT

Then make it 100K. But the fact of the matter is the Polestar 3, Volvo XC90, and Rivian R1S all start in the mid to high 70s. Granted it’s a different market but if this was about making EVs more affordable look at the market and see what many of the large 2 rows and 3 rows are priced at
  11. Missouri Selling my LG R1S in Kansas City $110k

    Define reasonable current market value.
  12. Latest EV tax credit status (as of 12/30/22) - summary by NYT

Battery and raw materials I can see but man that vehicle purchase limit of 80K is DUMB
  13. Second Tennessee Service Center is Officially Open

Hopefully this means I get my first mile soon
  14. Hey Flipped R1T, Meet Stuck R1S

Not me wanting to buy his R1S off of him now ??
  15. Stock price - do people realize Rivian (RIVN) is NOT Tesla (TSLA)??

If they can get Georgia up and running and the R2 units off the line, they will succeed. The dual motor variant of the R1S will sell like hotcakes. Especially with the standard pack once they start producing it since it’s under 80K and may qualify for the tax credit.
  16. Dual-Motor AWD System Specs: 600hp 0-60 MPH in 4.5 Seconds /// 700hp 0-60 MPH in 3.5 Seconds!

I’ve been wondering about this myself. Right now their pricing is too close together for the features each vehicle provides. I really don’t want a quad motor increase but at this point I could maybe see it happening.
