I’m sure plenty of people here have a STEM background but in my head I’m just like how do you not all understand how this works? Just because NACS are more well maintained does NOT mean Rivian should switch - at all. It’s a standard. That Tesla created, owns, and has all proprietary rights too...
I’m interested in the forthcoming Max Pack numbers and dual motor reviews. So far all the dual motor has convinced me to do is purchase a quad and use conserve only on long road trips. The only main advantage of dual so far that I can see other than cost savings is access to the max pack.
this is AMAZING news for anyone who has the 21s, but I’ll still be going with the 20s and switching to the Michelin LTX A/S when the time comes. Range of the 21s with a better look too. Also still $100 cheaper than this tires at $275
I read it a second time and feel less so, but the decreased drive modes coupled with the decreased suspension height, and the different badging would make me feel like I’m getting less of a car. Which is fine. I’m not crying about it like some would ?. I guess just after reading about quad for...
if I didn’t know this forum, I’d think OP was trolling. it reads (and I hate to be this person) but like a freaking temper tantrum. Like I know he wants the R1S and he wants it now, but it’s pretty well known that their delivery and allocation from one person to another is still pretty random...
I know RJ is the CEO and it’s not his job, but this is so much better than vague soon-ish emails from freaking Tony. His updates are always so great.
Yup. Two people on the forum have installed Michelin Defenders and Pirelli Scorpion AS+3’s and seen range similar to and in the case of the Pirelli, better than the 21s ??‍♂️. Do what works best for you but considering the all season replacements are around $150 cheaper than the OEM 21, I’m...
I’m less skeptical than I was before. Their new CEO is bent on bringing electrification to Toyota. I currently own a RAV4 hybrid and absolutely love it and have said here before that if there was ever a 4Runner Prime or (and this is will never happen) a BEV 4Runner, I’d never look twice at an...
Found this interesting tid bit in an article by The Verge today. There’s no way this is accurate right? Imma need Rivian to sort out this Max Pack drama quick ?. Including the part where they update the Max Pack pricing for the R1S
Do people like the 21s enough for any reason other than range? ?. I’m just curious. Because when I found out I could do a tire swap for the same range I said screw that. Wonder if there would be a big enough market to sell my 21s as full size spares.
Honestly the 20s having less range aren’t even that big of a deal. Slap some all seasons on and you’ll get the same if not slightly better range the the 21s. My biggest “gripe” (again I get it, if I can’t buy it/don’t want to, just don’t) is that a Dual-Enhanced Large R1S w/21s is only a TWO...
