Really good point. I did the factory tour and they do run every vehicle through a water test in a giant booth to identify these things. Makes you wonder how carefully they are checking things out after the test. Also possible that your leak was small enough that it took a long time driving in...
I assumed this was what the OP was seeing as well. When you leave your vehicle in the garage unlocked with proximity off at home it should sleep when you walk away. However, when you get close to it again with a proximity key it will wake back up. Do you store the key close to the place where...
The service center contacts you to schedule delivery and then a different team coordinates the tour. I would assume then that every factory delivery goes through the Normal SC for PDI
I was told by the delivery staff that the plan is to build a more robust delivery center in a different location near the factory or service center. The tiny building behind the factory that they currently use isnāt great.
I was at the factory a week ago and the EDVs have to number in the thousands. Amazons pays when produced (not delivered) and Rivian is not responsible for delivery so I donāt think anyone cares that they are stacking up. At some point, however, they will run out of space to park them.
Also -my...
I just took delivery last week and my R1S rear end is sagging within 30 minutes of parking. It holds enough pressure to drive fine, but clearly there is a leak that needs to be fixed. Thank you @clockwork crane for posting so I know where to start with service.
I am completely lost on this entire topic. I had April-May, then got Shop access on 03/02, then lost shop access on 03/15, my estimate went to "Processing Estimate" and I have heard nothing since. My guide is trying to keep me positive but she doesn't know either.
Are you in the area of FL where they refuse to sell anyone a vehicle? I have seen others discuss the lack of service centers in a wide radius causing them to be passed over.
Also have Blue/OC. I had shop access for a week and lost it. Itās been almost two weeks now and nothing from Rivian. I still show āProcessing Estimateā on the site like everyone else that loses shop access. My guide says s00n - delayed because of PPF.
I think that's about as good as you can make pastidip look - very well done on the application. I have done a few sets of wheels using the same method and even thought it's a ton of work it seems to get the best result.
Go with the gloss (piano) black powder coating - it's absolute hell to...
I use the rear hatch open on my van's key fob when I am going to load something big or heavy into it. I can never get the foot sensor to work consistently so it allows me to open the back before picking up whatever large item I want to load and walking it to the vehicle. I know I will use it...
Just venting. I lost shop access a week and a half ago, my estimate changed from April-May to Processing Estimate, and I haven't heard a thing. My guide said she hasn't seen anything yet but hopes to s00n. Getting discouraged for about the thousandth time.
I completely understand this comment, but I have had solid functioning auto-HVAC on every car I have owned since my 1998 Chrysler 300M (Was it ugly? I still can't tell). This will be really frustrating to me and I would love it to be a priority. My guide indicated to me a few months ago that...
Same thing happened to me after my Shop access went away (was April-May). It's been a week since that happened and my guide doesn't have any updates. Do you have a VIN yet? Does anyone know for sure that the change to "Processing Estimate" actually means a vehicle is incoming? Do we have an...
I have been keeping an eye on the selection and the one consistent thing I see is that when an Ocean Coast interior hits the Shop it is gone almost immediately.
