Yup looks like you are correct. I didn’t understand what this meant and thought it only would charge durning that selected time. At least for me, the interface was a little confusing. Seems to be working as desired now.

Thats not a bad idea. And I can do that with my current ChargePoint chargers. I was hoping to avoid that because its harder to override if needed to but I guess thats the only option. Hopefully this gets addressed in an update.

I'm taking delivery this Wednesday, the 28th in Brooklyn. I actually had someone from the service center text me and set up the time. They did it last night and confirmed this morning. They seemed have multiple days and times open that they offered me.

It also has sales tax implications. In NJ EVs don't pay sales tax. I think that when these were bought with the car as options, they would also not be taxed. Buying them separate will certainly have sales tax applied.

So still no progress on this truck. How often should I be pinging my guide about this? I now feel like my order is in some lost or stuck state..... Its been 2 weeks since I selected the RT Shop truck and still not VIN or 8 steps.

I'm trying not to be to negative about the guide. Maybe it's a failing of Rivian for not giving them the tools they need, I don't know. I just wish they could provide a little clarity to the process.
