If the battery can’t take all the KWs generated, where do the KWs go? The power grid keeps balance by varying generation based on demand. My solar system does so by dumping to the grid. How do EVs do it?

Good idea however when I switched from all purpose to snow the remaining range didn’t change. While changing to sport the range changed about 30miles. So I assume snow mode doesn’t hurt range.

What studies do you have regarding battery failure rates. I believe the warranties for batteries exceed those for ICE. But not sure since the last time I bought an ICE was like 2008.
