1. Launch the app on your phone. You see the screen with a picture of your truck.
2. Swipe up. You see drivers and keys.
3. Press 'Manage'.
4. Invite a driver.
Have used the app to invite someone to be added as a driver on the R1T. Nothing has happened on their end or on mine for 24 hours. Unclear from the app or the manual what is supposed to happen next. Want to add a driver and reassign one of the swipe cards to them. Anyone accomplished these...
OK, putting aside the fact that the manual specifically says no slide in campers,
there are weight issues: . This matters when you look at real world loading. My sticker is typical if you have underbody shielding and the full size spare: . Remember that load includes all passengers and...
...and there is an impact on load as well, but, that said, driving without a spare is a really bad idea if a person has any intension of going outside of an urban core. I've been in places with no cell reception and have had a blowout. No spare, maybe still be there :-)
Go with the 22". Have not driven them in snow here (a little hail, though), but they handle heavy rain very well, so no worries no my part for next winter. And yes, there are more 22" options out there than for the 20 or 21
don't know the length of the Rivian cable. ClipperCreek standard is 25'. ClipperCreek: America's Most Popular EV Charging Station The Rivian charger should support your vehicles. Had my ClipperCreek since I got my 2019 Niro EV. Works well on both. Not an issue for me, but there are dual...
I really like my 22's. Mileage doesn't take a hit like the 20's and if I need to replace, there are lots of 22" options out there...not so with 21". Just look at what is out there in 21". Just about nothing but the OEM Rivian tire.
Check ClipperCreek...made and supported in America. Had mine for 3+ years, no issues. Their current suggestions for the R1T:

Payload varies greatly depending on wheel/tire and configuration. I have never seen the supposed # of 1760lbs. Some of the posted stickers show around 1300lb payload, some nearly 1600. If you can't see why payload matters, I wonder if you have any experience with trucks, camping, or...
I had an EV for 3 years before getting the R1T. I would have hesitated on this just because, well, interfaces and such are different. Maybe you can read once and retrieve forever...the manual, of course, if not, at least have it as a .pdf on a tablet or something to review in resturants or...
ClipperCreek has some upgrade options...talk to them, maybe even a trade-in. To my mind, the chargers with wifi and apps simply introduce additional points of failure for no real upside. What would you get from the app that you can't get from the app for the truck? Here's ClipperCreek's current...
