So, I've read (what feels like) hundreds of posts on tires for our heavy beasts. I'm going to be switching from the EOM Pirelli 20" tires (275 65-R20) eventually, and I've been wondering what to go to.
Among all the posts, there mentions here and there of a particular tires warranty. 70,000...
Thanks for this. The "Defender LTX" - is that the LTX Platinum, LTX M/S 2, or LTX A/T 2 that you're referencing? Looks like the pricing of the M/S 2.
I'm wondering about the Michelin Defender LTX A/T 2 275 60-R20 (116H / XL). Anyone opt for those? Efficiency results?
Hey @Mtbaddict, thanks for this comparison. I'm looking to switch from my OEM 20" Pirelli's soon.
From what I can find online (Tire Rack) I states the Defender LTX M/S 2's only have a 7.8" tread width (86% of OEM tires). Any issues from your experience with traction on wet pavment?

Saying you regret not focusing on fixing quality issues sooner is a big deal for any current CEO.
Actually fixing them, is MUCH harder. Requires new approach to engineering and design, as well as employee relations and operational models. It aint easy, especially for a company the size and...
Yes, and (what I was trying to get to in my previous question), how can we now "seal" any openings BEFORE water / rust starts? Not wait for it to happen.
@EV Sportline, For those of us who JUST installed sliders, mind sharing broadly how to "seal off" the end of the tubes - to get ahead of this?
Thanks in advance!
In a separate thread @EV Sportline indicated the cut panels could be added AFTER the sliders were installed. I'm guessing from your post there's a reason you don't think that's possible. I've installed my sliders (sans panels) and haven't looked further into it. Can you explain why you don't...
Has any manufacturer provided "on demand" or subscription pricing to unlocking mileage for a limited time? If there's some ability to add mileage using software, why not offer that for shorter time periods? Seems to me there are 2 consumer need states for needing more mileage (beyond just the...
Received and installed my R1S sliders over this past weekend. Mostly, everything went OK. One box was a bit banged up on one end, but the hardware all seemed just fine. First one took 2x longer than 2nd one :). All the instructions were clear. I love the welting Mod, so thanks for that...
Can't speak to CA approach, but here in the Pacific Northwest - the local authorities are very responsive to arborist recommendations to remove trees. If the city / town ignores those recommendations which can later be proven, the local authority become liable (which I believe has happened)...
I believe this was the garage door stuff mentioned up thread...
