The chrome trim strip on the doors is not chrome. Itās pretty cheesy, laminated plastic. Itās very easy to catch your fingers on it. Once that happens, you need to be careful not to make it worse, as it will just peel off. I had my R1T in the SC for another issue and they replaced mine without...
I had my rear shocks replaced a few months ago. I was told the criteria was the shocks had to be actually dripping to qualify for replacement. A little seepage was not consider an issue. Having said that, my shock shafts, while not dripping, were completely, 100% coated in crud. Clearly, they...
My ā23 R1T has almost always made a clunking sound from the rear when making right angle turns on bumpy surfaces. Sounds like something is not connected back there. I half expect to look in my rear view mirror and see Rivian parts lying in the road š Well, maybe itās not quite that bad. Iāve had...
Youāre welcome. I remember, like you, it took me a bunch of failed attempts before I focused in on that link. I think I ignored it as it referenced logging in with a different device, and I only had the one device.
To be clear, there should be an option to sign in with a different device. As I recall, it was an inconspicuous link at the top of the page. After clicking that link, you should get a new QR code and can sign in with your original phone/account. If you used that link and had no luck, I donāt...
I had this issue some time ago. Select the setup with a different device option. You should get a new QR code to follow. Then just set it back up using the SAME device (your phone) and same account. Iām trying to remember, but I think that was all there was to it.
Just curious if you have received any word from Comma about your order. Iām just trying to get a feel the delivery time frame, as Iām about to place an order myself. Thanks.
Aha! Itās starting to make some sense. The molex connector was the missing piece. As I understand it, it would be removed from the Comma Power and the fuse tap would be spliced onto it, then plugged into the harness. Thank you for the info and the offer!
All the fuse taps I have seen look something like this. How does that connect directly into that harness connector. It sure doesnāt look like it would. Seems like there is a missing link. Is there another cable with the appropriate harness plug that connects to female end of the tap cable...
After spending way too much time learning all I can about the Comma 4 and the installation process, Iām still a little in unclear on the fuse tap. I get what the fuse tap is and the need to get one with the proper pin configuration and fuse size. My question is - how does the fuse tap connect to...
I have similar issues with my R1T. It doesnāt seem to remember my settings. It seems to default to the floor and windshield heat, with all the vents turned off. At least its not turning on the steering wheel and seat. Got a mind of its own. I believe this did start around the time of the last...
Last July, I had the hub knuckles retorqued as a part of a recall. Later in the summer, I had an alignment issue that cropped up causing my rear tires to see extreme, uneven wear, necessitating a realignment and a new set of tires. Shortly, after that, in November, I had the rear shock replaced...
I grew up in the Bay Area, so I can certainly understand that scenario. One city , and there are a ton of them, blends into another. Having said that, Iām not sure I really thought much about it during the many years I lived there. Like, gee, am I now in Palo Alto or Los Altos or Mountain View...
Seriously, how often are MOST people road tripping where they donāt know the town they are in? Once a year, twice a year, three times a year? On a daily basis, Iād much rather know the street Iām on than the town Iām in. I live in more of a smallish, suburban environment. But, on any given...
On the left side of the driverās display there are two boxes. A larger one that shows tire pressure, efficiency graph, etc. There is a smaller box above that. This smaller box used to show the name of the street/road/highway I was on. This was very useful info. Now, it only shows the very...
I drive in the mountains a lot. I just assume, with Comma, that I will need to use MADS mode, with Sunny Pilot, to keep from going bananas with the speed reductions at every corner. Iāve driven on a couple of mountain highways that are mapped for Driver+ and it was horrible!! Drove me, as well...
