I’d much rather have a new vehicle over a used one. You have protection under the state’s lemon laws and possible tax incentives.
I purchased my R1T without having a First Drive. There are so many reasons why a new buyer might wish to sell.
I just just traded my Model Y on an R1T, and everything seems to be working fine but I did have a ding and couple flaws in my paint. My hood might need an adjustment. Because it was delivered yesterday, the recall had already been performed. Sadly, there is no yoke.
I received my R1T today, and have tried pairing my Overhead Door Co. Garage door opener without success. I didn’t even get to the step where I’d press the learn button.
I’ve had no problem pairing with my Tesla and Subaru. I called Rivian and added a compatibility software ticket.
I am not...
Did everyone sign the contracts in advance? I am not accustomed to signing in advance of seeing the vehicle. With Tesla, I waited until after inspection and brought a cashiers check.
I am taking delivery in Orlando, Florida, and the hurricane/storm currently looks like it will be in the area...
I’m also considering buying a refrigerator/ freezer that utilizes 12v or 110.
Is anyone planning on utilizing your Rivian in case of power outages? What have you purchased?
