Some addon costs for the lower models:
air compressor $350
dynamic roof $1500
exterior darkout package $1000
22" range tire $1000 (doesn't actually change the 330 mile range estimate on the configurator)
Limestone is now...
This is fine. When its our turn to upgrade, there will be even more. Once they tell me I can go 300 miles highway on a large pack, then I'll be disappointed.
Some of the things they said can't come to the current software is baffling. Sounds like this was a 2 step upgrade in the cpu/graphics chips rather than 1. Also, based on Rivian's history in bringing new software features quickly (they are quick like a sloth), I would assume they will quickly...
I agree. Just saying it's delayed and they don't have a timeline due to recent events would have been fine. I guess if they say that, it'll upset the new buyers
It's also something people mess with once at the beginning and then no more... Unless there's special circumstances to keep changing every other drive.

As a previous owner of Audi SQ5, brake pads and rotors will come up twice in 6 years with lots of city driving. It is expensive, even with aftermarket brands and shops.
Doing it yourself wasn't worth my time to learn + do because its a loss either way.
Went on a trip to the country side and lost 3-4% the one night it wasn't plugged in. I'm guessing this is an issue with having very very slow LTE connectivity and the car keeps trying to upload logs or whatever. GearGuard was off and proximity off since I set the location as home.
Otherwise at...
Range Rover Evoque doesn't sound like an equivalent vehicle. It really needs to be a 3 row SUV that has 500+ hp and a giddy up in the 3-4.5 sec range...
"After Rivian began shipping R1 owners Tesla NACS adaptors last month, Scaringe said there was a shortage, but “those are shipping now.” "
I don't think we've seen confirmation that it has resumed...
