Had my First Drive event it Dallas today and talked about it here: https://s00n.rivianstories.com/posts/22298803?utm_source=manual
They said that the Houston center was about to open, and that would help with deliveries in Texas.
Can't be over since I haven't even been contacted yet at this point, and my local service center delivered nearly all of what was there (5 out of ~50 left). ?
I would expect that the reservation date still has some pull on where you would be slotted for that particular configuration. This is a tough problem for them to solve, I imagine that's why it's taking so long. They are not the first ones to attempt it though either, so they have other examples...
Yeah, just trying to see if there as any sort of order or if we are moving along in the preorder date. Obviously some have been out of order but I'd assume the majority would be in order... you know just trying to control the anticipation here.
Drove by here today and they are almost empty on trucks now. Must be pushing those deliveries. Didn't get good pictures though. They have a police officer sitting out front now. ?
Sort of... better at sending out more words, but honestly this email is not very clear as to what to expect on Monday. Seems pretty clear the price will be adjusted, and they could have left it at that, but then they said that your account page would be 'the best place to get the latest, most...
I wouldn't read to much into this personally. Thinking from a product development perspective, it's unlikely they will roll out both things at the same time. There is a lot of risk of more issues in that for them.
One can hope of course, but I suspect this is specifically about pricing.
Looks like high water on a roadway, based on the wire rail on both sides and the roadway in and out. This would be a pretty safe area to cross. Awesome seeing it in action and not having to worry about flooding the engine.
In the same boat. Hearing people with a year+ later pre-order in my state getting calls and guides, and their trucks are even passing through my city to go to them... and nothing. CS is no help either as to whether it's configuration or what. LE, Glacier White, BM, Off-Road.
I'm also signed up now for a test drive in Dallas first week of April. They won't talk to you at the temporary service center though due to not having a dealers license in Texas and could get into legal trouble if reported they were "selling".
