Great question!
Our filters are in fact different. EV Sportline chose H13+ grade HEPA and we chose H11.
What’s the Difference?
There are two main types of HEPA filters – HEPA 11 and HEPA 13. Both are considered medical grade and designed to remove 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 microns in...
Have not had the opportunity to check it but we suspect not. Rivian's website states their OEM filter is not compatible with Gen 2.
The service manual shows it's the same process to replace it though. Shoot us a DM or email if you're interested in confirming.
Would be quite the stretch for Rivian to care but we're not Rivian to answer.
Not sure how you're correlating the filter to equipment stains. I could be wrong but not aware of the blower being tied to an airflow sensor that would cause it to work harder or increase RPMs, just preset speeds. As...
Through the laws of physics, a finer filtration will have an impact on the airflow.
That said we have not noticed a difference running it in our R1T for more than a month now.
As the title says we now have in stock our own custom designed HEPA + Activated Carbon replacement cabin air filters.
They're available for purchase on our website at: https://everyamp.com/products/cabin-air-filter-hepa-activated-carbon-rivian-r1t-r1s

I can say I have taken my personal SnapPlate through a touch carwash without incident a few times but they are all so different and known to occasionally take off side mirrors that we recommend removing SnapPlate prior to an automated touch car wash.
SnapPlate is designed to sacrifice itself...
Are you looking for something different from the surround view that's shown in the center column of this photo?
It shows the SnapPlate installed at 3 of the 5 different heights. You can always see a small dark rectangle and a sliver of the plate shows at the highest setting only. It's not...
AS @beatle pointed out, no SnapPlate does not screw up the 360 view. It is slightly visible on the front camera depending on plate height. So is the factory drilled mount but they did reduce it's view on the Gen2.
Thanks for the support! We just launched the new SnapPlate for the Gen2 R1. You can find the post here: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/r1t-s-gen2-2025-no-drill-front-license-plate-mount-snapplate-removeable-lockable-height-adjustable-usa-made.30692/

For those of us in front license plate required states, the factory front license plate mount requires drilling holes directly in the front bumper of the R1T & R1S. ? If you don't want to have permeant holes in your bumper, be sure to instruct your delivery advisor to tell your local delivery...
UPDATE: We have an owner lined up and willing to give us access to his Gen 2 next week. We hope to have a next gen SnapPlate ready before the end of the month.
UPDATE:
With the roll out of Rivian's Gen2 R1 line, not to be confused with our Gen2 SnapPlate, we have found they changed the grille and bumper dimensions just enough to make the current SnapPlate incompatible.
We have full confidence we can have a revised model for the Gen2 R1 ready within...
PETG is a great safe and durable material to print with. It's what we have been using for SnapPlate since we started in 2019 and have had zero heat related issues for exterior use.
Cabin interiors baking in the sun with windows rolled up can reach much higher temperatures than outside (waiting...
Rivian SnapPlate now comes with our larger screwdriver handle and reversible tip to adjust the rear tabs for a perfect fit, along with secure your plate with our security screws.
Thanks for the reminder! Yes got it all sorted out at the service center. The Bluetooth antenna module had an internal fault. They had the part ready and was a quick fix at the San Jose Service Center.
Here's the work order too:
