You got it -- I hadn't heard of it either until someone on this forum (thankfully!!) mentioned it under my original post... Makes sense though - I was not at fault, and had my car for 4 days, and now it has an accident on its record. Even though it was a minor accident with no frame damage or...
I found my two at a Dollar Tree here in Houston - it was the first one I went to, and my daughter and I went to about 10 more this weekend (Dollar Tree and Family Dollar -- I think they are the same company?) and found NOTHING!!! Boo!!! At least I have two to give way!
In the event it is helpful, I documented my collision repair experience here.
Part of the reason they say it took so long was they had to completely take apart the back side as shown in the photos posted by "the long way down under" above. And of course parts took 12 weeks...
Good luck!!!!

Yes, new rear quarter panel (that's the part that took the longest), new rear bumper, new lower portion of rear lift gate, and associated sensors, etc. were the bulk of the parts
I luckily found 2 at a Family Dollar today - leaving them in the abyss of my center console to leave on an unsuspecting R1T if I run into a parked one in the wild. Will be sure to cause a riot on your GearGuard :)
Sharing this as I hope it is helpful to others who end up in the unfortunate position of needing to send their R1 in for body work at some point…. Sorry, brevity is not my forte, but I assure you I tried my best….
Read my original post for a few additional details on the collision and the “you...
I got a wrist band when I took delivery - I guess that has changed? Honestly I've never even tried it -- guess I should give it a go. Would love it if there is a way to turn it into an apple watch band....
