This is why I turned off proximity on phone key and switched it to key fob.

Just an update to say... that this all of the sudden magically works. It is not as flawless as using the phone - but mission accomplished (without messing with location).

Well I must have never tried until latest software … cause I never saw this option ever. All great suggestions which I have tried and nothing works. I also switched it on and off without any difference. My next attempt will be to switch location to always on to see if that makes a difference…...

I want my phone NOT to open and turn on the car when nearby. Rather I want the key fob to do this. Was easy enough to adjust this setting in menu - but it does NOT work. Anyone else have this issue?

I really like the way that looks... but I have always been hesitant to do PPF cause eventually it will need to be removed or redone - correct? Assuming you believe it will last 12 years.... do you go to installer before that to redo?
