Thanks for the confirmation. My rivian contact has been adamant that they are not able to stack and insist that your deal might have been in error. You might have been lucky or my contact doesn’t know the process.

Rivian is not allowing me to stack referral discount with preorder pricing. They've told me it only works for employees. Do you happen to be employee or just regular customer?

That's same response I got. If you didn't order with performance then you won't get it free. Only option is to pick something new in the shop if you really want performance.

My delivery is scheduled for Tuesday and haven't been able to get an answer either. Hopefully someone here will provide an update.

My understanding is that employee referral does stack on top of preorder pricing so you can use both.

I’m in the same boat. Employee submitted on Monday. Was hoping to see the referral discount today based on the 48 hours mentioned by others but it seems like 72 hours is typical too. Hopefully we see it tomorrow.

For what it’s worth the employee who helped me said he was able to enter my order into the system. He didn’t mention any issues with having a nine digit order number.

Mine is nine digit as well. I'll cross my fingers and see what happens.

When you say it was "more than a week old" does that mean from date of order from the shop or something else? I'm about a week away from delivery and wondering if I would still qualify or not.
