Just to clarify looking to see if anyone was able to get YouTube TV working natively in the YouTube app that is in the vehicle and not via casting. I’m aware we can cast.

Odd that Tesla’s implementation allows for YouTube TV but Rivian doesn’t.

Kyle’s video matches my experiences with max pack charging speeds. Poor performance from a relatively large battery pack.

We ordered R1S 9/23. Adapter arrived 9/27. R1S arrived a day later 9/28. Adapter arrived even before the truck.

I am hoping that since these test were done when the max pack was still relatively new that Rivian will make more charging improvements to the max pack like they did with the original large over time.

Just tried another EA 350kw charger and got about the same speeds. Set navigation to charger but did not see any indications of preconditioning. Truck indicated battery temp of 78 so probably already at ideal temps. Max charging speed was about 154kw when charging from 31%. Tapered to about...

DMV never sent a notice for my lightning either. My buddy with a rivian never got a notice either. I’m guessing might be related to these trucks being classified as commercial because of their weight. I’ve set an annual reminder to pay to avoid the penalty in the future.

Thanks I’ll give another stall next time I fast charge. Any idea on how to determine if the truck is actually preconditioning the battery? My tesla would display a message about preconditioning in process but I don’t think I saw any messages on the rivian.
