Which, in theory, should mean that as the hood starts to make contact with something, such as a low roof or a canoe, it should come to a stop. You can also grab on the top as it's opening, and when it feels the resistance of you holding it back, it will stop.
Yeah, I prefer it to make contact with my hand, other than something hard that could scratch or do so some damage to it....better safe then sorry!Which, in theory, should mean that as the hood starts to make contact with something, such as a low roof or a canoe, it should come to a stop.
In theory!
Glue a piece of styrofoam or egg crate to your ceiling where the frunk would hit it if you forget to stop it - you probably park close to the exact same spot every time. It's not the most attractive solution (my wife, for example, would never allow it), but it would work and keep the front top of your frunk from hitting the drywall.I have a low garage. Is it possible to set the opening height of the front trunk?
