Thank you for the responses. If I didn’t buy out the lease right away and paid the lease over 3 years and purchased it at the end, would my total cost be the same as buying it now or more or less? The $7500 credit on the lease makes it interesting.
Has anyone leased a Rivian and bought the vehicle shortly after? Under a normal purchase, I wouldn't qualify for $7500 tax credit, so wanted to consider this option. Thank you.
The tonneau cover is designed to store in the gear tunnel when removed and doesn’t really fit anywhere else. So keep in mind that the gear tunnel will need to have space if you need to remove.

I agree the service model for Rivian is broken. You can have an appointment two months from now, drop your vehicle off, and they might not even touch it for a week. There should be a point of contact at the service center to keep you updated on the vehicle.
I am having the same issue with the airbag turning off with a 115 pound occupant. I took it in for service and they said it is working as designed. For those that reported to NHTSA, have you heard a response?
Rivian had a recall for the 2022 models according to a google search. However mine is a 2023. I wonder if it’s the same issue.

Any updates on how this was resolved? My Rivian is in the shop for the same reason. It seems like if the passenger is slouching, the airbag turns off.
If the passenger belted themselves and the vehicle recognized a person of adequate weight is in the vehicle, the vehicle shouldn’t turn off...
