  1. INTERIOR feature / details just posted at Rivian.com

Those cupholders. God please no. They remind me of the cheap slide out cup holders on the early 2000's mercedes. :crying:
  2. Rivian Guide Contacted Finally! (For Real) ?

Hmmm... Probably not as big a deal as it would first seem. What is a realistic amount of orders that a Guide could juggle at one time? Maybe 30? That would mean all the guides would be working on 480 deliveries at any given time. Am I being optimistic with 30?
  3. If the official EPA range is....

This. I am not smart enough to know how Tesla seems to cheat the EPA ratings but as a Model S owner, it is very annoying how inaccurate the onboard range estimate is. It seems like the Mach E, Porchse and other brands are much truer to their numbers. Hopefully Rivian is the same way.
  4. "deliveries this Summer..." why is the Press using this phrase so frequently now?

My apologies. Meaningful volume is a relative term. In this instance, the first month of production during a ramp up. I would consider anything more than 100 deliveries in June to be meaningful.

None of this inspires much confidence in deliveries beginning in June. Certainly nothing of any meaningful volume.
  6. What will we learn 5/17-5/23?

Maybe I'm picking nits here, but starting production isn't necessarily the same as delivering vehicles.
  7. It's May....

I am super optimistic that deliveries will begin in June. We are less than a month away from that promise and I feel it is too late to announce a delay. I've been through delayed product launches on the company side, there is a certain balancing act between announcing your delay too early and...
  8. Amazon’s Rivian van begins delivering packages in its third U.S. city

Do we have any estimate of how many of these delivery vans are on the road? 10, 50, 100?
  9. Depreciation Thoughts

Difficult prediction. Another factor would be the possibility of Rivian having the opportunity to lower prices the same way Telsa was able to do with the Model S over the years. I've seen stickers from Model S' in the 140s that were produced in the first couple of years. Before the refresh, the...
