  1. Charging Error - Unplug and Retry Again

I'm having the same issue with a Tesla Charger at home. The charger makes many clicking sound and then the Rivian reports the charging error. I'll try the reset or hard reset an report back. This started to happen (I've been using this charger for almost 2years now without any issue) after the...
  2. First problem with my R1S, and it's a big one. Bolt backed out

Making it to the press now: https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a62387382/more-rivian-owners-are-reporting-loose-bolts-in-steering-knuckles/
  3. Rivian wont recognize my profile

No thoughts but having similar problem. After my wife drives the car, it will recognize my profile on the screen but the seat position doesn’t change. I have to switch the profile in the display from her and then back to me for this to work. I do not remember having this issue before so I wonder...
  4. Rodent chewed through wire harness, causing $7K repair (and $1650 towing)

For those who have installed the Loraffe repellent, could they share pictures of where they installed it exactly and how they did their setup? Thanks for your guidance!
  5. How does Rivian calculate the mileage range when EPA numbers say it is much less

I just had a second look at my rivian and it reports 1.67mi/kWh so far for my 500miles I driven it. It seems very low for California weather even if I only had the car for a couple of weeks.
  6. Accuracy of speedometer

I thought that could be the case, but why Tesla is able to get away with it and provide a spot on value?
  7. Accuracy of speedometer

I realized that the speedometer on my newly purchased R1S dual motor with 21" tires is not accurate. It is under by roughly 2mph when driving around 40mph and is probably slightly more at 65mph. Is there a way to adjust the speedometer to be more accurate? My Toyota Prius was doing the same but...
  8. How does Rivian calculate the mileage range when EPA numbers say it is much less

Thanks for all the viewpoints. I'm in southern California where winter weather does play a role in early morning driving but not so much the rest of the day. I'm mostly do in town driving using the local freeways most of the time at 65-70 mph. I'm really curious about the charges loss. I could...
  9. How does Rivian calculate the mileage range when EPA numbers say it is much less

Hi, I'm new to Rivian (had my car for 2 weeks now) and I'm very surprised with the mileage average I'm getting which is after 500 miles something below 2miles/kWh. Mostly driving 50/50 freeway and city. Rivian posted their usable battery size and I calculated that I'm only getting 75% of what...
