Isn't there a visible line/demarcation when you only place PPF partway up a solid surface like the hood? I just assumed that when folks spoke about doing the front end, the entire hood would have PPF to avoid an obvious demarcation. This would bother me more than a paint chip!

I think this makes sense at a price that is much more reasonable than full PPF.

I realize I am frugal (cheap) since I won't even pay the extra $2500 for the premium paint colors. $6700 to take your new glossy paint job and make it matte seems like a horrible waste of money. Whatever floats your boat! What is wrong with glossy paint?

Well, you're not going to get someone else's blue truck who has been waiting 2 years for delivery. I would think you go to the back of the line when you make a change just before delivery. I'm sure someone is enjoying your glacier white truck they got through the R1T store.
