That's not accurate. Tesla used AMCI to verify and validate.

Tesla’s crash data is self-reported and lacks independent verification. Comparing FSD-equipped Teslas to the entire U.S. vehicle fleet (which includes every type of driver, car, and condition) is a flawed methodology. A real comparison would be FSD vs. human-driven Teslas under identical...
That’s not just sound advice—it’s common sense. Buying based on promises rather than delivered features is a recipe for disappointment. But when a company markets future capabilities as a selling point and then fails to deliver, it crosses into deceptive advertising. At a certain point, failing...

Keep in mind, it's Tesla's claims(probably bullshit and not peer reviewed) but, this is the report almost all people reference when stating FSD is safer.
Uhhhhh WHAT? This is from 2021. 2020's website is even more brazen. What are you actually talking about?? They have for YEARS said they were implementing this technology in Gen 1 ????
I don't understand why this is amusing to people. They sold capabilities, specifically to secure purchases and then did an about face. Good lord that other EV company ever did this people would be coming out of the woodwork with pitchforks...
Class Action Lawsuit IMO. Rivian sold and marketed the Gen1's as having 100% full backwards compatibility with FSD and are changing course. I know I'll be in on one if it comes to fruition.
** Edit since some people can't believe their beloved RJ would ever do something like that, here's a...
Ya know, it's weird. Turn on "Latch" by Sam Smith. The ceiling speakers completely rip.
I'm not an audiophile by any means but, it feels very song dependant? I thought "Atmos is Atmos", is that possibly not true?
Do you miss the extra drive modes, or not at all? I'm in a similar situation but, my Gen 1 Quad only has 8,000 miles on it still(I work from home and drive the Porsche mostly).
Was contemplating the swap since I'm a little leery about some of the already large-scale changes.
I'm curious if this is related to my issues in a Gen1. I don't think I have ever heard the ceiling speakers ever work. I've done resets, messed with settings and nothing.
It just sounds "flat" after the second to last update.
Yup, I noticed this as well. It just sounds very meh. I'm sure an...
I worked for Apple. For a long time. It can't be a myth when Apple sets the standard for a phone released 5 years ago to no longer receive updates.
At least you were correct about the so dumb piece. I don't think/know if Rivian would be THAT aggressive in a deprecation schedule, but, I suppose...
Or maybe I touch grass and don't sit on forums all day looking for updates lol.
Your post history is wild. Go outside man, you own a Rivian, you're supposed to like being outside.
Nobody's angry, you're just spouting off about things you clearly have real world experience with. Clearly I touched a nerved, are you ok?
But, what do I know, I only worked on the Apple iOS for 5+ years and have pretty consistent issues with Apple Music in my Taycan w/ CarPlay. But yeah...
Have you heard about any issues with the ceiling speakers? When the initial update dropped, my ceiling speakers worked, but since the "corrected" Apple Music update I've heard nothing.
I mean, I'm not wrong. People are under the impression that cars over certain price points don't have issues, it's not reality and if anything, it's the complete opposite.
More features = More problems(usually).
Real talk, are you unemployed? Because only a terrible engineer would suggest that integrating a stack that a company has no control over would solve the current issues.
