Well there you have it. It’s usually dark when I go to work and dark when I come out so today is the first day I got a good look.
Water droplets and ice crystals inside.
Looks like back to service.
I wipe mine too but the cloudiness I'm referring to is not clearable with regular cleaning.
I did find an online reference somewhere where an individual claimed that if you use rain-x for glass (they have one for plastic too) on these lenses, they may have to be replaced.
I cant clean the cloudiness off my backup camera. I rely on it heavily for my long driveway.
I'm embarrassed to say I did use rain-x for glass on it not knowing whether the lens was glass or plastic, but didn't think it would hurt.
I have had terrible salt on the truck from winter here in...
I wasn't aware that maximum psi was a significant element to look for? I just assumed that if the ratings stamped on the tire are correct, just use recommended psi and you're good. Am I missing something?
Welcome EV Sportline. When wheels are swapped, say from OEM 22 inch wheels to your 20 inch wheels, is this easily done at home?
Does any programming need to occur from the Rivian Service center? Or, are all OEM wheels using the same tire diameter, and therefore no programming is needed...
I have 22s also and envision swapping to 20s for winter in Chicago (potholes and snow). I'll pay the premium for the xtra set, but $200 and a trip to the service center twice a year? If I have a capable jack and a wrench this should be able to be done by me or at least locally.

I do notice hood buffeting. Originally my hood panel alignment was bad. I had that adjusted and still see it. I don't know if they checked the adhesive. See the link below about this hood adhesive quality issue...
They always used to say not to force a mechanical item that is malfunctioning, but that was before this tonneau cover was built. If mine sticks at some point and wont open, I close it then reopen and provide manual force to get past the previous point of obstruction.
It has always worked. I...
I haven't seen it posted in this thread but there are screen protectors all over Amazon for the R1T. Whats the benefit? A screen protector for a phone makes sense if you drop it. Are people really worried about hitting their screen with a screwdriver or something?
Thanks for the nice tips.
I don't have this item, but front plates are "required" in Illinois so I may get it at some point. Although I have had Jeep with a winch for 8 years without ever being stopped for it.
This looks like a nice atraumatic solution.
I posted the original complaint on this thread about this. I have had a model s 90D for 6 years and put 100k on it and haven't had this problem.
It's not a huge gripe considering how awesome the truck is, and I don't want too get too far into the weeds but..
As best I can tell the 2 biggest...
I’m not sure where else this is discussed because it’s hard to search… but I wish they would fix the sport mode “bucking”.
The transition between accelerating and regenerative breaking is basically non existent.
If they would let the thing coast for a second or two after lifting off the...
I removed the shuttle from my list because I didn't want the loss of space from the shuttle itself.
Now I store a pretty large folding chair in there for baseball - probably the size of a junior golf set. It's very easy to slide long stuff in and out of there.
If you're worried about the...
