Well said. I have had these for 1,000 miles on my R1s quad motor. Love them. So far range is better than OEM Pirellis and Nitto Grapplers. Getting 2.25 so far. Pirellis were around 1.95 and Nittos were 2.05.
I'm hesitant to speak to road noise (which was my #1 priority) because they are so...
I have had my R1S for 2 years with no issues. But now when i walk away my vehicle doesn't lock about 50% of the time. I did get a new iphone 16 Pro recently. Any ideas? Maybe delete the phone and add it back? I keep the fob in the car and have it set to not impact lock/unlock.
I just had a similar (the same?) rattle fixed. I thought it was the headliner chattering against the glass but is was the middle row left side passenger door. Something inside the door was rattling. Took an entire day at a service center but they did somehow fix it. They thought it might require...
1,500 miles on my Nittos and still getting similar efficiency as the Pirellis. Lifetime on the vehicle is 2.23 @ 15,000 miles and Nittos are getting 2.22 @ 1,500 miles. Almost all driving AP mode.
MUCH softer and quieter. I highly recommend. Fingers crossed they don't get louder around 10k...
Finally! I filed 6/10/2023 to amend my 2022 return. And almost 1 year later i finally got my $7,500 refund (plus a lot of interest). I had pretty much lost hope. Hang in there if you are still waiting.
1,000 miles in and getting the same efficiency as OEM tires. 100% AP driving. Much quieter and softer. Hoping the noise doesn’t get worse over time like the OEMs. We shall see.
Reset my trip computer when they were installed. You can see new tires VS total ownership. Both around 2.2 mi/kWh.
I’m at 2.24 for 12,000 miles 100% AP mode. I live in NH and have had the vehicle 1 year (so majority cold driving). Mostly short distance drives but I floor it all the time and do 75-80 on the highway.
OEM AT 20s. The noise is now unbearable so I need to switch tires.
These seem promising. That...
I should have clarified that Rivian doesn't recognize roads that have been in place for years. Tesla did and likely because they were on Google maps? I could be wrong.
About the same time as the last OTA update my GPS started taking me completely different routes to places I travel to regularly. The routes make no sense and are worse across the board. I didn't see any GPS map update in the OTA notes. Did anyone else notice this?
I never thought I would have...
I just downloaded the most recent OTA update. Wow! Sport mode is now a viable driving option and feels the way I anticipated it would when i got my R1S.
Coming from a Tesla Performance Model 3 I have been very underwhelmed by the torque and acceleration. Sport mode was better but still not...
I love mine too but I agree 100% that finding the sweet spot is a massive test of patience. 1 mm to the left or right makes all the differance. I was ready to throw it in the trash and tried one more tiny adjustment and it worked.
It could have been engineered a little better so that you don't...
A tech came out from the Chelsea, MA service center yesterday. I spoke with him on the phone beforehand and he was familiar with the problem. He said he had fixed 2 others already and that the problem was a piece of foam that sits too close to the speaker. Nothing wrong with the speaker itself...
That’s exactly where I am at. When 3D sound is off, no sound comes from that speaker. Problem “fixed.” Low volume or lower 3D setting it’s not too bad but it’s still there. Not sure if it’s hardware or software. Should I cancel my mobile service appt? I doubt a new speaker is going to fix this...
Thank you guys! Turning off 3D sound seems to be a fix. Its not perfect but its much better. Even after a hard reset, it is still there with 3D sound turned on.
