I agree, something is amiss. I have 21's with 29,000 miles on my T, and look to have another 15,000 to go. I enjoy a good launch now & then, and like (& use) the available power. I do not drive in conserve mode since I noticed the advanced wear over the rear tires after about 2,000 on road...
Like you, we own a Y and R1T large pack in both, same 325m range in both, If you can do it in the Y, you will do the same in the R1T. High speed, hills, and cold are the big variables. And the NACS adapter is a game changer in charging on the road !
With my R1T 2022 vin#18483 large pac, 21"s, 210 interstate miles, 70mph cruise, 600' elevation change, light wind, 70f, I typically use 205 to 215 battery miles. Cruise at 77mph uses roughly 275 battery miles. I'd venture to say if you watched your ICE in miles mode instead of fraction mode...
The morals of some in this world are turning to krap. Why would one consider damaging something one doesn't own ??? Treat is as if it is yours, and do the future owner a favor.
Minor issue, but is there a aftermarket remedy for damaged or missing port covers? After 3 tire rotations, I have 2 covers with damaged 'wings', and one missing. There are no indications as to where 'wings' should be inserted to hold them in place. But man, I am lucky, no other issues in 25k...
I've just called to set up a checkup after 24k miles with NO issues. Just a checkup, at service center in Richmond Va. They said they could do mobile service, and they would do it for the same price as at the SC, $220. Plus they would rotate & balance. I usually get Tire Discounters to do...
Yep, I've been to those 2 evGo's at Military Highway WAWA 5 times. Never got a charger to work, even after their resetting the unit multiple times. I finally installed T universal charger at my favorite hotel that I visit quite often. Now I enjoy no on the road charging for those business trips.
And don't expect them to read the manual. Provide a quick detail of how to .... Otherwise, don't bother with the manual, except as back up or additional info.
Ocean Coast is great. I drive almost every day, and in jeans in cooler weather in Va. No casually noticeable stains after 18 months and 22k miles. I will never have another black interior. Now to just find light color matts that fit...
In my 100+ times over 3 years using NACS for my wife's Tesla Y, (with success and ease of use running 99%), and 40+ times over 2 years using CCS for my R1T, ( success rate running near 75%) , there is no question who we will be using once we get an adapter. Slimmer cables, much better success...
And don't forget about flooding. What happens when your power wall is flooded? Would that create a short and impact your panels and equipment? Flying debris is most damaging in a hurricane, so impact on the panels themselves might require ability to disconnect them from the array in order to...
Like others have said, carry your own jack pucks. the underside of the truck is covered with plastic panels, which will be damaged without them. And don't just ask if they have them. Tesla, BMW, Rivian pucks are all different. They may say they have pucks, but don't count on them being the...
I know it's the wrong thread, but what's up with the MALWARE on this site? On my MacBook, if I click on a thread, I get the danger, you computer has been taken over.....do not try to delete....call this number..... It's damn annoying and I have to force quit to get out from under the threat.
