Calvin,
I was hoping you wouldn't mind providing a follow up review on your vehicle. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I'm going from a 2022 Gen 1 Quad to a Gen 2 Tri. Same color and wheel option as yours. My delivery date is schedule for 3/21/25. I'm not going to lie; I'm getting cold feet...
My quad had the 20” AT setup. Interior rattled like crazy. Especially when the temps were above 70s. But I think that was mostly due to how many times they taken apart my vehicle trying to fix various systems. My new truck motor comes with 20” AT wheels. So I guess I will let you know. What...
oh no please don’t tell me that. I’m just getting out of my gen 1 quad due to a bunch of issues. I’m taking delivery of a gen 2 tri next week. I was told the gen 2 is a solid truck and should be trouble free.
I’m going to check my tire PSI tomorrow morning before I head out. I’ve notice 1 or 2 psi on these tires make a huge difference in efficiency. Due to the colder weather we are having in SoCa, I had 2 tires at 47psi and 2 at 46psi this morning.
Looks like efficiency is maxing out at 2.20. Here is my 1000 mile update. Only drive in AP mode. Very little HVAC use (waiting for SC to fix it. After my previous service it’s not draining so it smells like moldy water).
I'm close to 500 miles on my Terra Grappler G3. They are the 275/65R20 116 version. There has been a significant improvement on my range within the last 150 miles. My average is now at 2.14. Which is my R1T life-time average. The tires are inflated to 48psi cold. After driving around for a bit...
Terra Grappler G3 275/65R20 -116T 48psi
285 miles on the tires
Quad motor - all-purpose 100%
Efficiency 2.03
Stock Pirelli 275/65r20 life-time efficiency 2.14
Seeing a 5% reduction.
I'm in SoCal so temps are upper 50s to mid 60s. Probably doesn't have much effect.
The ride is super...
Curious why did you switch from the Toyo to the Nitto?
I just got a set of Nitto’s installed. First week efficiency was horrible. (Like 1.65)Its definitely getting better. I have 184 miles on them. I’m currently at 2.03.
Please post here once you see the official recall. It’s been driving me nuts too and they also have been passing it off every time my vehicle has been in service.
Just got a set of 275/65/20 installed yesterday. Initial reaction, way smoother than my stock pirellis, look great, and a lot quieter. Keep everyone posted about the mileage.
My R1T makes the same noise. Every time I bring it in for service the SC says they can't replicate. Where you able to fix yours? If so, what did they do?
Hey guys hoping to sell these locally. I have a set of sliders I’m selling. They are for the 21-24 R1T. Used but never took them off road. Asking $1000.00
Selling my EV Sportline rock sliders. Local pickup only. They are located in Redondo Beach, Ca. They were installed on my vehicle. Slight scratches on the bottom from installation and removal. $1000.00 and they could be yours.
