Thanks. The "roll" options sounds like what I would want for reverse, but I have no problems with drive. It seems when I'm backing up and hit a bump, my foot releases the pedal and the truck just stops. I've got the drive part pretty well figured out, but still have problems in reverse...
Sorry to hear about your hood Jared. Is the maintenance you mentioned a type of proactive maintenance, scheduled after completing so many miles, or was it for repair work? If proactive, did Rivian contact you to schedule an appointment? Thanks
I would like a plain cruise control, that doesn't rely on the sensors, in addition to what we have now. Too many times, I've had to stop and clean the sensors. Sometimes that doesn't even work.
I would also like for the cruise control we have now, to regulate the speed based on speed limit...
These pictures were taken yesterday, July 26th. There were a few trucks there. Guessing around 6 or 7. I saw one silver, one Forest Green and a few Launch Green. Looks like a lot of work still needs to be done at this location. I don't know if it's temporary due to construction, but Hawes...
Thanks. I should have asked also, if you can ask Alexa to play a specific song and a playlist, from Spotify and it will play them. Not from Amazon music, but from Spotify. Are you using version 2022.23.5 ?
My Alexa works and my Spotify works.....they just won't communicate with each other...
Mine is exactly the same as yours. The previous update worked flawlessly. This update broke the communication between Alexa and Spotify. I have even deregistered Rivian from Alexa and re-registered. I have updated Alexa and Spotify, on my mobile apps. Signed in and signed out of Alexa in...
Thanks for the heads up @Longhorngirl. I definitely don't want to get rid of the Rivian. Hopefully the kneel mode is lower than the lowest setting. For the time being, I'll do what @Ginny is doing and use a step stool.....in public too.
Glad you mentioned the step stool. I do have one I need to try out.
The app doesn't allow lowering the vehicle, but the vehicle still won't go as low as I would like. I'll try the step stool. Thanks QP for the reminder.
Adding to a Ford advantage: Running boards.
For the 70+ crowd, under 6 ft tall., running boards could be a good thing for some of us. I can't bend my right knee very well, so I have to step back and throw my leg in. Next option is knee replacement, or replace with the Lightning. My...
Thanks.......I do realize the current speed limit, for the highway, is shown on the dash, along with your driving speed.
My suggestion is for automatically changing the Cruise Control, to match the posted speed limit sign, if the driver wants it that way. Ford does this as well as Tesla I...
Speed Limit Sign Recognition
Cruise Control Resume Speed
Option to turn off One Pedal driving
Remove One Pedal Driving in Reverse
Active or Passive Key Fob
Icon to adjust driver's seat position upon exit/driving position
Ability to manually set the percentage State of Charge
Need an accessory...
If I'm not mistaken, with the Ford Lightning, one will be able to turn off one pedal driving. I do like one pedal driving the majority of the time, but there are times I don't.
In addition to not being able to turn off one pedal driving, not having a "resume", or "speed limit sign...
I was going to an appointment in Tyler, TX. After making a right turn, I looked in my rearview mirror and saw what I thought was the reflection of my truck. I only had my truck a few days after having the windows tinted, and PPF applied. The rear window was darker than I was used to, so I...
I brought home my El Cap Granite R1T yesterday. I didn't know there would be a video produced on You-Tube, but here it is. I'm pleased with the results. I've never had this done before, so I can't say whether the work was exceptional, normal, or poor. I'm not that hard to please, so I...
