Did you complete the 8-steps and pay for the vehicle already, which is why they started shipping wall charger? Or were you able to pay for the wall changer outside of the vehicle purchase?

I was exticed to see this post, and hopful for some R1S vehicles in the pictures.... none! (sigh...) I drove through the Plymouth, MI lot this moring, and there were about 30 R1T's sitting there and 8ish EDV's. Didn't look like much change from last Friday. Still one compass yellow sitting...

Just drove through the Plymouth lot this morning. No customer R1S’s sitting there waiting for delivery. Probably close to 30 R1T’s and 10ish EDV’s for Amazon.

Just received an insurance quote (using “dummy VIN”) from State Farm, and they had no problems with the vehicle. The rate was great too!

I agree that there may not be much of a market for it, however UNTIL it is ACTUALLY a mass produced vehicle it would be a cool memento as a first owner. THe value would be worthless to anyone else other then the first buyer to keep. Also I would welcome a behind the scenes look at Rivian...

Wishful thinking that they have a standarized process... only time will tell. I drive through the Plymouth lot about once a week. Two weeks ago there were 50ish R1Ts and 7 roll-off delivery trucks sitting there. This past Sunday there were only about 20 trucks, so they seem to be delivering...

Just courious what the timeline was like for current owners to go from signed PBA to 8-step process, and then delivery? Do you get the VIN in email, or just a notification email to start the 8-step buying process? I find myself logging into the portal WAY too frequently, expecting to be...
