I’ve tried the bar and every button release (on the seat & in the back) to no avail. I inspected the track once, but I’ll get a brighter flashlight & take a closer look. I have kids too, so I’m sure that is likely the culprit.

I went down to University Village this morning and they have a GEN 2 R1S on display. IMO, the best feature is the drawer replacement for the camp speaker. I hope they sell these as an accessory in the shop soon.

I got the “coolant low” message and the truck shut down. It is currently at the SC waiting for the fix. For those of you that had the same issue: Did it ever occur again? Or was Rivian able to fix it the first time?

Still no ETA on a fix… or even a cause of what went wrong, but I called today & was able to swap out my rental car for an R1S loaner. That makes this waiting period much more manageable.

I was there 2 weeks ago. The manager told me they like that it is hidden away - they don’t get any looky-loos ? That said, the street ingress/egress to that building is bonkers.

I’d like them to overlay the parking distances on the camera view. It is annoying to look at the camera and have to switch to the gauge screen to see how far away objects are.

Quick update- my driveway is on a slope. It is the only time I see the different levels per side show up. When parked on level ground, they are all super close in height. Kneel mode must also do some leveling? Either way, I’m not really worried about it anymore.

I picked my R1S one month ago from the Bellevue SC. Here was my timeline: 10/2 - Selected my R1S from the shop. 10/13 - Get a text from the SC that my R1S is “on its way” from IL to Bellevue, WA 10/27 - Get a text from the SC to schedule a pickup appointment on 11/3 or 11/4. 11/3 - Delivered!
