Anyone have an issue with the rear sleet seat where it’s not sliding forward? I can release the seat and it moves about a quarter of an inch and then it just stops. It feels like it’s not fully unlocking the seat. Neither the manual or electronic release allow it to slide forward.
I checked the track & don’t see any obstructions.
Any suggestions would be welcome… otherwise I guess I’m scheduling a service appointment.

What button/lever are you using? The slide the seat lever is different than the fold/recline backrest lever.

To slide the seat you use the lever that would be by your feet if you were sitting in the seat.

Are you using the bar under the front of the seat? The lever on the side is tilt and the top is fold.

Also I had to check the track closely. One of my kids had stuck a pen into the track and it shattered into a billion pieces when I kept trying to force it. It was very very difficult to see and even harder to clean up.

I’ve tried the bar and every button release (on the seat & in the back) to no avail.

I inspected the track once, but I’ll get a brighter flashlight & take a closer look. I have kids too, so I’m sure that is likely the culprit.

Remember - there's a very bright flashlight in your driver's door...Just push the button 3 times for the brightest setting :)

I seriously hope the jam is not caused by broken glass. That is the worst (speaking from personal experience).

Kids in carseats?

Due to the way the seatbelts are designed you can't slide the seat while a carseat is installed. You have to remove the carseat, make your adjustments, and then reinstal the carseat. It is really annoying.

I had the exact same problem and I found a bolt that had backed out from somewhere underneath the right side of the second row 40% seat. The bolt fell into the slide track and the cap of the bolt had caught in one of track slots. That was preventing the seat from sliding all the way forward. I used a telescoping magnetic pickup tool to remove it. I removed the seat entirely to attempt to find where the bolt came from in order to put it back but haven’t yet found where it goes. I’m now exploring how to disassemble the slide rail to get better visibility. If anyone has any idea where it’s suppose to go please let me know or else it’s off to the service center I go.
