I believe the weight sensor is in the seat bottom towards the back. When my kid who’s 115 pounds slouches, the airbag would turn off. The only car I’ve had this issue with. If he sits up, the temperature controls come back. Rivian said it was normal.

I like the design. Can you fit the tonneau cover with the gear glide tunnel? Is it one piece inside that you can pull out on both sides?

Anyone have side profile pictures of the Rivian to share with these running boards? I think they are the best options out there. I’m hesitant because of the gap between the running board and plastic trim.

I really like the look of these running boards. How much space is there between the truck and running board? On some pictures, it looks flush and on others there seems to be a large gap.

I’ve driven both on a R1T. The 22” handles better and look nicer in kneel mode. The 20” offers a smoother ride and more tire options. I’ve had no experience in the snow. I would lean towards 20” considering where you live.

Anyone install these running boards? It looks like a good option.

Great idea to carry a spare charging cord. I’ve been experiencing the same issue in the heat. My phone wouldn’t charge so when I came home, I connected the Apple MagSafe puck directly to the usb and the phone had no issues charging. I wonder if it’s a Rivian software update causing these...

I wiped the mounting areas with alcohol. It’s been holding up okay so far.

Anyone try these running boards from eBay? Any feedback with installation and pictures would be appreciated. I like the look of them and don’t need anything heavy duty. It’s only to make it easier for people to get in and out...

Mine are the same. The yellow is similar to the yellow band with Rivian on the black wheels. I thought it looked fine.

I’ve used twraps ppf for the front bumper and tailgate. It’s a quality product. Highly recommended!

Has anyone taken delivery of a demo vehicle? What was your experience like? Was the Rivian worn more than expected? I have my delivery of a 2022 demo vehicle with low 100 miles scheduled for next week and curious what to expect. Thank you.

Anyone take delivery of a demo vehicle? Are you able to inspect the vehicle before purchasing? Any concerns with wear and damage discovered during delivery?
